Please read this document carefully before using the showdiary.co.uk site.

Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights as a consumer. You can learn about your statutory rights by contacting your local trading standards office or citizens' advice bureau.

Introduction

Welcome to showdiary.co.uk. This site is owned and operated by Charles Owen & Company (Bow) Limited, trading as showdiary.co.uk. We strive to offer all our members a reliable and excellent level of service. If you have any queries please contact us at enquiries@showdiary.co.uk or write to us at Royal Works, Croesfoel Industrial Park, Wrexham, LL14 4BJ and we will do our best to help.

Application of these Rider Terms

If you are a rider and wish to use this site to book an event listed here ("Event") then you will need to become a rider member of this site ("Rider Member"). If you wish to organise an event then click here to be transported to the correct part of this site. These terms of use ("Rider Terms") apply to all Rider Members and all services which we make available to Rider Members from time to time on this website ("Rider Services") and by clicking on the words "I agree" below, you agree to accept and be bound by these Rider Terms. We are only prepared to allow you to access and use this site as a Rider Member if you accept these terms. If you have any queries about these terms then e-mail us at enquiries@showdiary.co.uk.

You should read these Rider Terms carefully, and we recommend that you print a copy for your own records - click here to view a printer friendly version.

We may change, add to or remove parts of these Rider Terms at any time but if we do so then we will post such changes on our site or send them to you by e-mail. The most up to date version of these Rider Terms can be viewed by pressing refresh or reload on your browser. If you find these Rider Terms or any updates of them unacceptable, then you may cancel your membership by sending an e-mail to cancel@showdiary.co.uk. If you continue to use this site and/or any Rider Services then this will indicate that you accept these terms and the changes to them.

The Rider Services

The Rider Services shall be as described in this website from time to time. We may modify, improve, suspend or discontinue the Rider Services or any aspect of them which we are willing to provide to you at any time with or without notice and without liability.

We shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that all Event applications which are placed with us are promptly communicated to the relevant Event organiser ("Organiser"). showdiary.co.uk's entire liability in relation to any failure by it to promptly communicate such application shall be for showdiary.co.uk to re-process your application if you so request.

Membership Application and Entry to Events

When you complete and submit your first application through this site we will consider it and if we accept it we will confirm this by e-mail to you. Following acceptance we will forward your application to the Organiser so that they can consider it.

If the Organiser accepts your application then they will send you confirmation by e-mail, fax or post or contact you by telephone. If you haven't received confirmation within 7 days before the Event then you should contact the Organiser by telephone (their details will be in the show diary). If you send your application less than 7 days before the Event then you should contact the Organiser by telephone the day after you submit your entry. You will only be entered in the Event once you have received confirmation by e-mail or telephone so it is vital that you monitor this.

Entry to an Event will be subject to the entry conditions of the Organiser a copy of which will either be displayed or details of their location indicated to you prior to you submitting your application to us. We suggest that you carefully review and print off a copy of the Organisers terms of entry prior to submitting an Event application.

Once you have submitted an entry to an Organiser through this site then it can only be withdrawn with the consent of the Organiser. If you wish to withdraw an application then you should not contact showdiary.co.uk but contact the Organiser direct (their details will be in the rider diary).

Restrictions on Under-Age Use

You must be aged 18 and over to become a Rider Member. If you are aged below 18 then you should arrange for an adult to become a member on your behalf - our application form will allow you to make it clear that you are acting on behalf of someone aged under 18.

Registration, Security & Sole Access

You agree to provide such information about yourself as prompted by our registration form and ensure that it is at all times true, current, accurate and complete. If it is not or we reasonably suspect that it is not true, current, accurate and complete then we shall be entitled to terminate your membership and/or suspend the Services until such time as we determine.

As part of the membership application process you will need to select a password and username. If these are not available then we will notify you and you will have to make an alternative choice. We recommend that you change your password frequently and we may from time to time require you to do so for security reasons. If you forget your password then you should contact us and subject to you satisfying certain security checks we will send an e-mail with your password in to the address you notified to us.

You should keep your password secret as only you are permitted to access the Services through your username and password. You must inform us immediately if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password or if it is being or is likely to be used in an unauthorised way.

You are responsible for all usage or activity on your showdiary.co.uk account. We are not liable for any loss of confidentiality or damage due to your failure to comply with these security provisions.
